Nydoo Mining Group becomes NEXD!

In our recent posts we informed you about the major change of going multi-gaming and a new logo.
Today, we are delighted to announce another big change happening to this community.
❗ As of today our community's name changes from "Nydoo Mining Group" to "NEXD Gaming". ❗
The reason for this should be fairly obvious: It all started with Star Citizen. As more games will be added to our portfolio the old name would not reflect the actual meaning of this community.
We hope all of you can understand this decision and like the name as much as we do.

It has been silent around NMGs leadership
We can assure you there is a good reason for this!
A quick throwback:
Founded in June of 2022 we reached our first 100 members on 10th Jan 2023.
We reached 300 by May of 2023 already. Growth and progress was great!
As NMG is 1.5 years old we still consider us to be a young community.
Unfortunately Star Citizen hasn't evolved as fast as many of us expected (some may say this is no news)
We stuck our heads together and decided we need to intervene this slow development process and provide Remedy.
What am I talking about?
We have big plans for "NMG". Which will eventually end up transforming NMG and redefine it's purpose.
To our two most important properties:
- multi timezone
- multi cultural
comes a new one:
We want "NMG" to be a place for not only star citizens, but also precision shooters, block crafting experts, dinosaur taming survivors, rocket engine mechanics, role players, card collectors and strategic high flyers.
What does this mean for Nydoo Mining Group
There will always be a star citizen community. Even though it's name may not stay Nydoo Mining Group?
If you are interested in Star Citizen only, there won't be much changing for you personally.
Everything we come up with will be announced in advance.
You will also be able to decide whether you want to make use of mentioned changes or not.
We hope this creates new social opportunities and helps fighting boredom!

NEXD Snake Pit Racing

Racers get ready! - The very first racing event is about to happen!
All Nydoo affiliates and members are invited to join us at our very first NMG Racing event.
- Where? - PU - Stanton - Microtech - Clio - Snake Pit
- When? - 19th February - Warmup starts at 7:00 PM UTC, 1:00 PM EST
- What? - Dragonfly racing on the planet's surface - 10 Laps
- Why? - Receive prize money for finishing as one of the top 3 racers
- How? - Add ""NydooMiningGroup"" as friend and join the server session on event day

3rd place: 150,000 aUEC
Rules:
- 1. Racers are required to be present within Nydoo Discord Server
- 2. Race vehicle may be Nox, Hoverquad or Dragonfly
- 3. Players are required to follow the predefined tracks path (Short-cutting of any kind prohibited)
If you don't happen to have a suitable vehicle we'll provide one for you

Update: Ranks & Roles

New hierarchy, new achievements, still simple
We have just performed updates on our ranks and roles. We expanded the amount of ranks possible and implemented ""Upgrade-Ranks"". Here are some useful information on the changes:
- New upgrade ranks: Junior and Senior ranks. Depending on your ActivityScore you can get new ranks with new benefits.
- Affiliation, Membership, Leadership: These roles can be hold by players. All roles have different levels of requirements. Affiliation having the lowest and Leadership having the highest.
- Requirements: Some ranks are inheritated, meaning you have to achieve a specific rank to access the next one.

We will refine the info pages in the upcoming weeks.
Right now benefits of each rank are not yet set. We will update you once they are final.
